Glossary Terms & Definitions

Sybil (Core Concepts)

An operational security failure detected by FarmDash entropy checks. A "Sybil attack" is when a user creates dozens of fake wallets to farm an airdrop. If protocols catch you, you get $0. FarmDash helps you avoid looking like a Sybil.

Pioneer Pace™ (Metrics)

FarmDash's proprietary cross-ecosystem normalization engine. It translates disparate point systems (like Hyperliquid points vs Ether.fi points) into a single unified score based on TVL dilution and alpha potential.

Trail Heat™ (Metrics)

A 100% quantitative momentum indicator showing which protocols are currently seeing the most farming activity across the FarmDash network. High Trail Heat™ means an airdrop snapshot may be imminent.

Dusting (Core Concepts)

The act of leaving trace amounts of crypto (dust) in a wallet to keep it "active." Protocols now filter out wallets with only dust. FarmDash warns you if your wallets fall into the dusting danger zone.

Entropy (Security)

The randomness of your on-chain behavior. Low entropy (doing the exact same 3 swaps on 10 wallets at the same time) is how Sybil hunters catch you. High entropy is organic, human behavior.

HyperEVM (Networks)

The highly anticipated L1 blockchain from Hyperliquid. It brings EVM compatibility to their massive perp DEX ecosystem. FarmDash is optimized to track HyperEVM early-mover activity.

Oxen (Core Concepts)

FarmDash terminology for your connected wallets. Just as pioneers needed oxen to pull their wagons, you need wallets to farm. Free users get 2 Oxen, Pro users get 15.

Dysentery (Status)

A critical warning status. In FarmDash, getting "Dysentery" means your Pioneer Pace™ has stagnated for over 7 days. You need to redeploy capital or activity to avoid falling behind.

Dust Storm (Status)

A temporary UI state where live API data is unreachable (often due to browser CORS limits). When you see a Dust Storm, FarmDash displays deterministic estimated data instead of failing entirely.
